Ubuntu 7.10

Today, spend a bit of time getting my hands dirty on Ubuntu 7.10. I’ve previously installed Ubuntu 7.04 but nvr have any time to use it. This time round, I hope to archive a lot more on Ubuntu. Will update my progress here.

- Install Ubuntu 7.10 on VMware Server.
- During Installation it hang at 82% Configuring apt for almost 10 minutes, thought it hangs and do a reboot. Did some research on the net and realised it was downloading updates from the server. OMG! Gonna leave it overnight.

- Finally Ubuntu is ready for me.
- Want to install VMware Tools in it. (manage to find the link here)
