Unable to use rdp mstsc /console

I was trying to do a remote desktop using “mstsc /console” to my Windows 2003 server this early morning and realised it does not connect to the session 0 (aka console) of my windows 2003. Searched the microsoft support site and found this.
The /admin switch is introduced in RDC 6.1. RDC 6.1 is included in the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)
- Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)
